MRH workshops on eye tracking start on 26th October!
Attention! This academic year we are launching a new series of workshops on using eye tracking in linguistic research. In the winter semester we are going to learn some theoretical basics, and in the summer semester we are running practical, hands-on workshops on collecting and analysing eye-tracking data. The training is conducted by prof. Agnieszka Szarkowska and Dr. Valentina Ragni.
This semester meetings are held on Thursdays, 11.30-13.00 in room 3.014.
26 October: Introduction to eye tracking
16 November: Basics of vision. Eye movements and metrics
14 December: Eye-tracking applications: paradigms, research areas and study examples
18 January: Eye-movement data analysis: methods, affordances and challenges
22 February: SMI eye tracker (Hands on session) – research design and data collection
21 March: SMI eye tracker (Hands on session) – data processing (visualisations, AOIs, export, etc.)
11 April: EyeLink eye tracker (Hands on session) – research design and data collection.
23 May: EyeLink eye tracker (Hands on session) – data processing (visualisations, AOIs, export, etc.)
